Did a shoot with Maura this weekend, of her as Lia, from "Chevalier d'Eon". Maura, as usual, made the costume...and the "set" is my studio, heavily embellished to feel "Versaille-ish".

It is quasi-Valentinesque, which is the reason I'm posting it today--not because I think this is a particularly stellar piece! ;) (I am, however, rather pleased with the slightly over the top colors in Lia...and the subdued tones in the rest of the image...feels kind of...I dunno, *cool*, for lack of a better word! ;))

I keep going back and forth between the two and still can't decide which one I like best. :D It's so different from the photo you showed me but heck if I can tell what you did to it. :confused: It looks so undone! It's gorgeous really beautiful!!

Both versions will be getting my :+fav:! It looks so surreal and like a painting. I wonder what the original looked like. o.o Anyway, beautiful job. I love the dress, the pose, and the background (especially the curtains and vines!)
