Any Harry Potter Artists Out There?

My dear friend, and long time model and costumer, Maura , is looking for some Harry Potter art as an adjunct to a game she's a part of. Specifically, I believe, Snape/Lily art. I don't know the exact details, but my understanding (based on a quick exchange of emails late at night, when I wasn't paying close attention, because my contacts were starting to stick to my eyeballs! ;)) is that she's wanting to commission something.

Her standards are, I suspect, rather high--but then again, I'm a bit of an art snob, so I could be projecting! ;) I do know that she was quite taken with :iconfrodobolson72:'s , but other than that, I've no more specifics.

If you're interesting, or know someone who you think does wonderful work, who also might be interesting in taking commissions, let me know (include a link to something representative! :)) and I'll be happy to pass the info on to her! :D

You might want to check out :dev snapesnogger: Her art is more along the lines of Anime and chibis and what not, but she does have some truely impressive stuff in her gallery. ^-^ Plus, she loves the Snape/Lilly cross. ^_-

I'm so glad I swore off dA before finishing book 7, else I'd be completely freaking out, being as anti-spoiler as I am. ;) I wish I knew some really good Potter fan artist, but I don't. However, your friend could probably commission any artist for the work, not just a fan artist.

Oh, and that picture is amazing. Thanks for directing me to it. :D :bulletblue:

And as for just commissioning any artist...I think part of her problem is that she knows what she DOESN'T want--when she sees it--but she doesn't know quite what she DOES want, in terms of style. This makes it a bit difficult for her, as I'm sure you can imagine! ;)

(Plus, she's wanting a young, innocent Snape drawn--one who'd gotten into any of the houses OTHER than Gryffindor...so you kind of need someone who knows the books, since there's not really a description you can point them to... :/ I'm sure she'll find something, though! :))
