Too Blessed for Words!

Oh boy, just *look* at what :iconhever: made for me: My very own Veela wand!!! :D

And not only did I receive all sorts of lovely good wishes and heart-warming comments from my readers, for my birthday last week, but :iconstacey73: totally bowled me over by giving me a dA subscription! Let's see...since I just recently renewed my subscription, that means I'm all set until March, of 2010! (Good grief--saying "2010" sounds so very futuristic--what a strange thought!) :D

I really do feel extraordinarily blessed...and I must say, that the timing is particularly good, because the truth is, I'm fighting feeling blue right now, because one of my very favorite people at work (and the only other woman in our network support group) is moving on to greener pastures, at the end of next week, and I'm going to miss her terribly...so it's an especially nice time to be reminded of how many other wonderful people I have in my life! :D :hug:

That's what I thought, too! :D It makes sense, when I do the math...I bought a sub last month, when mine ran out...which takes me through 2009, and she bought one for me, which takes me through 2010...but even so--doesn't that sound like a LOOOOOONG way off???!!!! Like in the future when they have air cars, and everything?! :rofl:

Good lord...2010 -does- sound rather sci-fi, no?

*sigh* Remember watching Space Odyssey and the like? I suspect we -all- thought we'd likely be living in space by now.

Besides! Buying you a sub was at least -one- way I could be assured of keeping your work around for at least another year :P

Had I remembered it at the time, I would have made sure your stock account was up to date as well.

*stuffs that away for a future goody idea* :D

Oh, and believe me--they HAVE been! For more than 9 months, some of the silly things! :P

But I'm going to bed RIGHT NOW--having gotten through roughly 200 messages, and being back down to where I was the last time I did this, three weeks ago. Only 238 or so to go! ;)
